Voltage Pictures LLC has won a court order from the Federal Court seeking the names and addresses associated with 30 IP addresses involved in the transmission of its Oscar-winning film The Hurt Locker on peer-to-peer (p2p) networks.

David Fewer, counsel with public interest group the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), says Voltage does not intend to take the file sharers to trial.
