These titles, which have been described as the “bibles” of Canada’s communications industry, have a 20-year history under the previous ownerships of Evert Communications, Decima Research, and Dovercourt Editorial Services. Together, these titles make up The Wire Report online news service.

Simon Doyle is the editor of The Wire Report and has worked for more than six years as a journalist in Ottawa covering politics and policy. For about three years he was deputy editor of The Hill Times. Simon hails from the Ottawa Valley and holds a B.A. in history from the University of Toronto and an M.J. from Carleton University. He wrote his master’s thesis on the copyright lobby and now tries to practice his French with Bloc Québécois NDP MPs.
